Good knowledge of the social,
economic and political situation in the Central Asian region

Progressively responsible professional
experience in a relevant thematic field (emergency preparedness and response
planning, disaster risk reduction, and project management)

University degree in political science, sociology, international
law/international studies/relations, pubic administration, or related area is
required;

Ability to build partnerships with
multiple stakeholders including local
and international NGOs, UN and Government counterparts;

Shows persistence when faced with
difficult problems or challenges and respect deadlines

Negotiation, networking, analytical and facilitating skills

Knowledge and experience in
fundraising towards international institutional donors

Ability to work independently, and
lead the project processes with
distant support from Senior Management

Excellent language skills in
English and a regional language

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
